15 years ago I was blessed to come into pastoral care counseling and work with those who are homeless, impoverished, struggling with substance use, and seeking help. 4 years ago, I was able to join Christian Counseling Professionals as a social worker and was able to integrate my Christian beliefs along with social work abilities and start outreach services.

 

Our outreach team started with 4 individuals, in one facility and is now blessed to be in four different facilities, with 12 different therapists and community support workers.

 

Our team believes in meeting people where they are but caring for them so much we don’t want them to stay there. Our mission and calling is to utilize our Christian faith alongside multiple social work interventions all across the city to walk with people in need of hope, help, healing, and recovery.
