“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”.

Proverbs 3:5–6

Meet Linda

I received my Bachelor's in counseling with an emphasis in addiction, chemical dependency, and substance abuse, and my Master's in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University.

My personal philosophy of counseling begins and ends with grace and a willingness to enter into an individual's experience alongside them. I believe in holistic healing that takes into consideration the whole person - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. My practical view of the function of counseling is as a journey of self-exploration by the client, meant to increase their level of self-understanding and self-awareness. Overall, my philosophy as a counselor is to treat each person as a unique individual, worthy of unconditional acceptance, regardless of their personal circumstances or struggles.

I utilize Strength-based, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness-based, and solution-focused approaches to client-centered therapy with the goal of meeting the needs of every unique individual. I seek to share acceptance, warmth, and empathy with you in order to assist in enhancing your strengths and collaborating with you towards meeting your goals and moving forward in recovery and healthy living.

I work with, but not limited to, adults dealing with addiction and substance abuse, as well as those dealing with recovery and adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and anger management.
