“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for you, oh God.”

Psalms 42:1

Meet Rosalinda "Rose"

As a CSW Lead/Trainer, Community Support Worker, and Minister of the Gospel, God has given me the opportunity to help others in some ways that help came to me. After being a victim of sexual abuse and poverty as a child, I spent 20 years of my adult life in drug addiction and all the “wonderful things” that go with the lifestyle. I ended up with a broken family, homelessness, and severe drug-induced mental illness that I thought never would end.

Fearing for my life between suicide attempts and hearing voices in my head, I began to turn to God with all that I was, desperate for a way out as I opened my Bible and began to read every word God had for me. My journey for healing began. And in full surrender of pursuing resources with following God step by step, I was led to a life of freedom and who I was meant to be in Him. God has completely restored me, and every day I am thankful for all that He has done in my life. I realize now that He used every part of it to bring me to where I am today. Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.”

In 2017, I began volunteering in a soup kitchen environment. There, I began preaching and developed a full ministry that now thrives in helping others recover from addiction and broken lives. I am certified as a Mental Health Technician and Community Support Worker and have worked as a Program Supervisor of a women’s recovery home. "Since 2020, I have been working with Christian Counseling Professionals, and it is everything that God has called me to do! God has given me the opportunity to walk alongside others and help direct them towards resources that will aid them in their journey to discover their own path, step by step. May God bless you along your path.
